Collapse simulation of concrete block walls
This research used Unity to simulate the earthquake resistance of concrete block walls, verifying the effects of buttresses, height, and stacking patterns on collapse. Results showed that buttresses extend the time to collapse, while shifting the stacking pattern can reduce the damage area upon collapse. Increasing height didn't significantly affect collapse time, but the overlapping of fallen blocks increased danger. We concluded that limiting height to under 2m, using FIT power for strength, and shifting the stacking pattern is the most effective seismic method.
