Proposal of a document presentation method using progressive summarization based on scroll speed
This paper proposes a method to present information at an appropriate level of detail based on scroll speed by generating progressive summaries using large language models. Specifically, it presents simple summaries when scrolling is fast and detailed summaries when scrolling is slow. This allows switching between skimming and close reading solely through scrolling, enabling users to grasp the document's content from simple summaries even during high-speed scrolling.
